You’ve told yourself you should be over this by now.

Something from your past feels like it’s blocking your future.

You go through the motions of life, but something is keeping you from truly living

You feel stuck in an endless cycle of anxiety, shame, and fear.

You don’t let other people really, truly know you.

You can’t trust yourself.

What is EMDR?

EMDR turns down the volume of trauma by reprocessing and integrating painful memories and beliefs. This holistic approach encompasses your mind and body, creating a profound shift in how you perceive yourself and the world around you.

Not only will you believe you’re safe, but you’ll feel it too.

Is EMDR right for me?

EMDR is a clinically proven treatment approach to treat trauma and can be successfully used to treat other common conditions such as anxiety, grief, stress, phobias, and more.

We will discuss your symptoms together and decide together whether EMDR is right for you.

EMDR Intensives

Don’t have the time/freedom for ongoing weekly sessions? EMDR Intensives may be right for you.

Intensives are highly personalized therapeutic sessions, spanning either four or eight hours, crafted to address your unique trauma and developmental experiences. These specialized sessions are designed to facilitate profound healing and transformation through evidence-based trauma therapy.

Unlike traditional weekly or bi-weekly therapy, EMDR Intensives offer an environment that fosters accelerated progress. They are particularly suited for individuals whose past traumatic experiences and developmental wounds continue to impede their ability to lead a peaceful and fulfilling life, resulting in persistent symptoms.

Intensives are scheduled on weekends to provide flexibility that aligns with your work schedule. I see only one intensive client per day—this ensures that your experience is entirely focused on your needs and healing process, without any distractions.

  • Regular EMDR therapy typically involves weekly or bi-weekly sessions, with each session lasting about 50 minutes. Clients work through their traumatic experiences gradually over an extended period of time. It's a structured but more spread-out approach.

Intensives condense the process into a focused, immersive experience. Clients engage in extended sessions that can last either four or eight hours in a single day. This concentrated format provides a deep dive into trauma processing and healing, making it ideal for those who want to address their issues more rapidly or who have difficulty with weekly sessions.

Regular EMDR offers a slower but steady approach, while EMDR intensives offer a condensed, concentrated experience for faster progress. Both are effective, and the choice depends on individual preferences and needs.

  • EMDR intensives have been shown to be as effective as weekly therapy. The key difference is that intensives allow clients to condense their treatment into a shorter time frame, typically spanning one week, instead of attending weekly therapy sessions over a more extended period.

  • EMDR Intensives are designed for individuals with busy schedules who may not have the time for weekly therapy sessions.

They are also ideal for those who are eager to experience rapid and long-lasting results. If you're ready to dive deep into your healing journey and make meaningful progress, EMDR Intensives could be the perfect fit for you.

  • If you're ready to commit to a comprehensive healing process and work on multiple issues and/or complex trauma, the full-day option is recommended.

If you have more focused goals, such as addressing specific triggers or a single issue, the half-day option may be more suitable for you.

  • No. EMDR Intensives are designed to be effective on their own, offering a condensed and focused healing experience.

However, for current clients or individuals who are interested in regular therapy sessions, adding an intensive to your treatment plan can significantly accelerate your healing process.
